Play Ball! Graham Signs MLB Pitcher C.J. Wilson

To many Americans, the start of the new baseball season is a long-awaited rite of spring, and to Graham — a Swiss watch company with British roots and a reputation for distinctively masculine sport watches — it also provides the perfect opportunity to introduce its newest “brand ambassador” and its first from the world of baseball: L.A. Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson. Wilson, a seventh-year major leaguer who went to the World Series two years in a row as a member of the Texas Rangers before signing with the Angels this past offseason, owns several Graham watches, and names the Chronofighter Oversize Diver and Silverstone Stowe Classic as favorite models. He is also involved in charitable activities, having founded the C.J. Wilson Children’s Charities in Dallas during his days with the Rangers. The organization teams up with children’s hospitals to offer support and care to children with chronic and terminal illnesses.

Perhaps most significantly to Graham, a brand with a longstanding connection to motorsports, Wilson is also an automobile enthusiast: a collector of Porsches and the owner of C.J. Wilson Racing, a team with whom he won the 2011 Road Atlanta race in the SCCA Pro Racing MX-5 Cup last September. “I really like that Graham has connections to motorsports,” Wilson said. “For me, that sends the message that they’re serious about precision and performance, not just style.”
