Ernest Borel has launched a free iPhone app for watch aficionados as well as individuals interested in obtaining more information about the brand’s heritage and current model line-up. The app also contains information about the brand’s marketing activities and ambassadors.
The application opens to show a model from the Borel Chrono Collection displaying the current time and date. The user can choose to access information in either English or Chinese.
The app allows the user to view the current “Collections” including detailed specifications, a zoom option, as well as “try” and “share by e-mail” features.
In “The Brand” section, users find background information on the company as well as access to video footage with further information on the brand’s history and a few behind-the-scenes looks at the new manufacturing plant located in Le Noirmont, Switzerland.
In the frequently updated “News” section, music videos, new model introductions, and other informative and entertaining content is available.
The “Store Locator” lists the company’s worldwide authorized retailers. The application is rounded off with a “Wallpapers” section featuring some of the company’s current models
