
The watch world gathered in Geneva this past Thursday for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Prizes were awarded in several categories, including men’s and ladies’ watches, complicated watches, sports watches, design watches, and the coveted Aiguille d’Or or “Golden Hand” Grand Prix Award. Public Prize (selected by SIHH attendees and the public voting online): Vacheron Constantin, Historique Ultra-fine 1955
Best Watchmaker Prize: Jean-François Mojon
Special Jury Prize: AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants). This prize may be awarded to a timepiece, a brand, a personality, an innovation, or any major player in the watch industry.
