Chronograph with Charisma: Aerowatch introduces New Limited Edition of Les Grandes Classiques

Aerowatch is a Swiss family company based in Saignelégier that draws back on over a century of savoir-faire in fine watchmaking. One of its area of expertise is the production of notably classic chronographs that stand the test of time. The new Les Grandes Classiques Chrono Limited Edition is the latest example for this know-how.

Clad in a 44mm stainless-steel case, the automatic timepiece is driven by the legendary ETA/Valjoux chronograph movement and offers a moon-phase indication and a pointer date in addition to the chronograph functions on its elegant silver face. The elevated outer ring with the date numerals adds depth to the dial architecture.

Flipping the watch, the wearer is treated to an unobstructed view of the finely finished movement with Geneva Stripes on the rotor, blued screws and gold engravings. The debutante is limited to 199 pieces and retails for approximately $4,000.

  1. I don’t understand the use of “savoir-faire.” I was taught it meant behaving appropriately in social situations. What does that have to do with a century of watchmaking.
