Only Watch Raises €2,285,500 for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

The Only Watch auction held September 24 raised €2,285,500 (slightly under $3,350,000) for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a childhood disease. In all, Patrizzi & Co. auctioned 34 exceptional timepieces at the event, which took place during the Monaco Yacht Show. A unique Patek Philippe ref. 5160 brought the top bid of €535,000.00 or more than $780,000.

Other top sellers included a unique piece by BNB Concept for Confrérie Horlogère which brought €280,000 ($410,000) and a unique Cabestan Winch Tourbillon Vertical that sold for €220,000 ($322,000). You can see the complete results at the Patrizzi & Co. web site.

Under the high patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, Only Watch is an exceptional charity auction initiated by Luc Pettavino, President of the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy (AMM). The entire proceeds of the auction will be donated to AMM, where they will be used to advance research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
