Greubel Forsey

Greubel Forsey is a small high-end luxury watch brand that was founded in 2004 by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, and is based in Switzerland. In 2006 the Richemont Group acquired a 20% stake in the company. Greubel Forsey has invented a wide array of tourbillon-based watches, for example the Double Tourbillon 30° (DT30°), Quadruple Tourbillon à Différentiel, Tourbillon 24 Secondes Incliné.

Two Pateks Top $1 Million At Christie’s Hong Kong Sale

A Patek Philippe Ref. 2499R, 3rd Series, brought $1,210,466 at Christie’s May 30 Hong Kong sale. The perpetual calendar chronograph with moon phases in pink gold was manufactured in 1971. A Skymoon tourbillon Ref. 5002P with twelve complications manufactured in 2008 brought $1,164,008. Both sales were within pre-sale estimates.
