Parmigiani Fleurier Drops Three New Variants of the Tonda PF Sport Chronograph

Milano Blue, Arctic Grey, and London Grey: Parmigiani Fleurier adds three new intriguing iterations to its Tonda PF Sport Chronograph line-up. Fresh and refined, these colors further highlight the refined personality of this luxury self-wind chronograph that is powered by a genuine integrated chronograph high-beat movement which is certified by the C.O.S.C. for its high precision.

Beyond their technical prowess, Parmigiani Fleurier watches are all about detailing and sartorial flair. This is evident in every element, but the dial naturally catches the eye first. In typical brand style, it celebrates purism and is decorated with a “cloutriangulaire” guilloché pattern that creates a stunning play of light and shadow. The timer on the flange and the three counters are colored to match the themes of the watches. However, the date, displayed between 4 and 5 o’clock, is in white on black.

The dial is framed by a knurled bezel, a signature of Parmigiani Fleurier, but here the notches are more pronounced than in the regular collection.

Measuring 42mm wide and 12.9mm thick, the stainless steel case, polished and satin-finished, has a water resistance of 100 meters. Its exhibition case back showcases the self-winding manufacture caliber PF070 which beats at 36,000 vph and has a power reserve of 65 hours. The C.O.S.C. certified movement is finished to the highest standards and displays satin-finished open worked bridges and hand-beveled edges. Its oscillating weight is made from 22ct rose gold.

The rubber strap is also worked in the sartorial spirit dear to Parmigiani Fleurier, with its refined texture recalling the leather work of an artisan-saddler.

“This collection marries horological precision with a refined, sporty aesthetic, designed for those who find beauty in simplicity and sophistication in sportive elegance.”

-Guido Terreni, CEO Parmigiani Fleurier
