There’s only one more day until the winners of this year’s Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) are announced. Earlier this week, we decided that before the final results are tallied, it would be fun to find out what our dear readers think of the 72 watches nominated across the 12 different categories. We’re interested to find out how the tastes and choices of the collectors and enthusiasts that read WatchTime compare with the punditry on display from the 27 jurors (plus President Aurel Bacs and Vice President Gianfranco Ritschel) that range from distinguished collectors, veteran journalists, independent watchmakers, and professional tennis players (see full jury list here).
All the competing watches are stunning in their own right and many feature breathtaking feats of horological ingenuity but there can only be one winner per category. Tomorrow, when we cover the actual winners of the GPHG, we’ll compare them with the winners of our own voting. If you’d like to learn more about any of the watches on display, simply click the link found in the title of each category.
Good luck to all the competing brands!

Beautifull, so Cool parade
As a watchmaker, I believe this for this go around, “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” – Mark Twain
Sublime sélection.
Gran elenco de piezas…
The selection of the watches was good
Each magnificent in style. Some are bolder, while others are simplistic with a flair.
