BELL & ROSS
New to the Bell & Ross BR S Diamond Eagle family this year are the BR S Black Diamond Eagle and the BR S Black Diamond Eagle Diamonds. The watches’ dials are inspired by the celestial sphere and are covered by sparkling diamonds that twinkle like stars in the night sky; the Aquila constellation is represented by seven diamonds. The hour circle features metal appliqués. Each version comes on a black satin calfskin leather strap or a black ceramic bracelet. The Diamonds version has a bezel set with 66 white diamonds (0.99 ct.). 39-mm steel case. BR-CAL.102 quartz movement. As shown: $7,400.
BLANCPAIN
Blancpain has unveiled a new women’s timepiece, the Villeret Date that has an oval date window. The numerals on the dial have also been redesigned and feature a curvaceous font. The rounded double-stepped bezel and cut-out sage leaf-shaped hands complement the design. The 33.2-mm case, available in steel or red gold, is offered with or without 48 brilliant-cut diamonds. The steel version has a white dial while the red-gold version has an opaline dial. The case has a sapphire back. Caliber 1151 with silicon balance spring has a four-day (100-hour) power reserve. Available with a mille mailles bracelet or an alligator strap. As shown: $37,100.
BOVET
The Récital 23 is the first Bovet women’s timepiece to feature the brand’s “writing slope” case, which is designed here for the first time in an oval shape that is 43 mm by 28.7 mm. Hours and minutes are shown on an off-center dial at 6, while a 3-dimensional moon-phase is at the 12 o’clock position. The case is offered in white gold, red gold or titanium. The gold cases may have the bezel or the entire case set with diamonds. The dial comes in either blue aventurine glass or black Tahitian mother-of-pearl with guilloché motif. Self-winding Caliber 11DA17-MP with two barrels has a 62-hour power reserve. Full-skin alligator strap with gold ardillon buckle. As shown, with titanium case with diamonds: $55,000.
BREGUET
Breguet has added a contemporary update to the Reine de Naples, the 8967. The new version in steel has a blue lacquered dial and a matching blue denim strap with a folding buckle. The Reine de Naples 8967 has a slightly elongated oval shape, distinctive for the collection. It has a deep-blue lacquer dial with turquoise blue scrolls, reminiscent of a starry sky. The sapphire caseback reveals the 591C Caliber, which has a 38-hour power reserve and an engine-turned, solid-gold rotor. The 169 components of the manufacture caliber have been decorated by Breguet’s artisans. The chronometric precision has been tested in six positions. $21,000.
BULGARI
The new Serpenti Seduttori features an unprecedented design that represents a bold new chapter for the world of Serpenti timepieces with its iconic drop-shaped watch head, a motif that comes from the Serpenti Tobogas watch. The new Seduttori is thinner than ever before and has a flexible new bracelet inspired by the original Serpenti watches and crowned in a cabochon-cut gem-stone in a nod to Bulgari’s DNA as a Roman jeweler. CARL F. BUCHERER
The Manero Peripheral combines Carl F. Bucherer’s state-of-the art engineering and classic watchmaking expertise. The brand’s engineers modified the CFB A2000 movement to create the CFB A2050 with a central hour and minutes display, small seconds at 6 o’clock and date at 3 o’clock. The in-house movement is a certified chronometer with a 55-hour power reserve housed in a multi-faceted case. Typical for the Manero family, the elaborate dial features appliquéd wedge-like indexes and faceted lancet-shaped hands. The 40.6-mm case has a sapphire crystal in the caseback. CITIZEN
The new light-powered Citizen Ceci features an enhanced large crown with the added accent of a blue spinel cabochon and a “C”-shaped three-part case. The 32-mm case has a mother-of-pearl dial adorned with either 4 or 12 diamond indicators. Offered in six different variations that have either a mesh bracelet in gold, pink-gold or silver tones or a leather strap in white or blue. The Citizen Eco-Drive movement (Caliber E031) can generate power using any natural or artificial light source to keep the watch running without replacing the battery. F.P. JOURNE
The Élégante by F.P. Journe is now available with a grade 5 titanium case that has been given an exclusive Titalyt treatment using electro-plasma oxidation, which improves the material’s hardness and resistance to wear and corrosion and gives the titanium a unique color. The new model is available in two case sizes: 40 mm and 48 mm. As part of the Élégante collection, the watch has an electro-mechanical movement with a mechanical motion detector that is visible on the dial between 4 and 5 o’clock. After 30 minutes without motion, the watch switches to standby mode in order to save energy and its hands stop turning. As soon as the watch is worn again, it automatically sets itself to the correct time with the hands taking the shortest path, whether clockwise or counterclockwise. The Lady Serenade from Glashütte Original embodies feminine and timeless grace. The 36-mm rose-gold and stainless-steel case has a bezel set with 52 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.09 cts.), a diamond on the crown (approx. 0.1 ct.), and a screwed caseback. The mother-of-pearl dial has applied markers and Roman numerals. Central hour, minutes and seconds, stop seconds and date window.
