What is Our Watch Insider’s Favorite Watch of the Year?

Mystery watch 2013As 2013 ends and 2014 begins, I hereby give you the watch that impressed me the most last year, first revealed on my blog, Watch-Insider.com. Do you have a guess as to which watch it is? Anyone who has followed my reports regularly probably has a good guess…

Of course, it is the new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra >15,000 Gauss.

From the first moment I saw this watch, with its antimagnetic design, I was a believer in Omega’s innovative system for eliminating magnetism — the number-one enemy of a mechanical watch’s accuracy.

To get the full story about the watch, including exclusive pictures; an interesting interview with Jean-Claude Monachon, Omega VP and head of product development; and two exclusive HD videos, please read my article, published June 18th, by clicking HERE.

Yes Omega Aqua Terra is nice but could be better finished no date window surround why ? and I’m not impressed with the second finger styling ………. so for me its Omega Hour Vision Orbis Blue Its a true classic with beautiful de-masking and finishing nothing comes close

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra is truly a great watch and I love its looks also, hence I fully support Alexander’s selection!

Moreover, I think its anti-magnetic capability makes Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra very accurate.

As Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra is not ultra-expensive, I am sure, it will be highly popular among ordinary folks.

  4. Is it just me or does this Omega Seamaster Aquaterra bear a striking resemblance to my Rolex Milgauss? Except for the Omega’s sapphire back they’re very similar…both even have fancy second hands.

My Watch of the Year? The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon. Although I’ve never owned an Omega, that one might be my first.
