Watch Brand Ambassadors at Australian Open

p150While the WatchTime crew was checking out new watches at the Geneva fairs, the world’s top tennis players were vying for championships at the Australian Open in Melbourne. This year, three watch brands were represented among the four finalists for the men’s and ladies’ titles. The men’s final saw a battle between Audemars Piguet and Rado as their brand ambassadors Novak Djokovic (AP) and Andy Murray (Rado) battled it out. Djokovic maintained his position as the No.1 ranked player in the world, beating Murray for his third consecutive Australian Open title and sixth Grand Slam title. Meanwhile, in the women’ s singles final, Citizen endorser Victoria Azarenka faced off against Chinese player Li Na. Azarenka also maintained her No.1 position, winning her second straight Australian Open. Perhaps Rafael Nadal (Richard Mille) or Roger Federer (Rolex) will join the finals party at the upcoming Grand Slam tournaments.

Unfortunately, you omitted the fact that Chinese player Li Na is a Rolex testimonee/brand ambassador in the edit about the Australian Open.
