IWC’s focus at this year’s SIHH, as visitors to this site and to our sister blog, Watch-Insider.com, are already aware, is its Aquatimer line of luxury dive watches, which the brand has revamped with new design elements and technical details. Click here to read about the trio of new IWC Aquatimers whose details and images were released prior to the show, and scroll down to see some of the highlights of the collection revealed here in Geneva.
The new IWC Aquatimer Collection consists of four new Automatic references, four chronographs with day/date function, four limited-edition chronographs (three with in-house IWC movements); one high-complication model, the Aquatimer Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month; two serious professional diving watches, one with a 2,000-meter water resistance and the other with a mechanical depth gauge. Here are a few of the previously unreleased watches that I managed to get my hands on at the IWC presentation.

I love the IWC Aquatimer, especially the black models. I’m also intrigued by the use of the word “Live” which seems to be appearing everywhere; “Live photos”, “Live images” etc. It raises some interesting questions for me (yes, I’m a proofreader and copy-writer pedant). How can a photo be “live”? Are there other photos that aren’t ie, “Dead photos”? The mind boggles, but thank you for updating us on SIHH 2014, it is appreciated as are the SIHH 2014 Photos.
Haha, they’re “Live” in the sense that we’re taking the pictures and reporting on the watches right from the event, rather than using press photos. Glad you’re enjoying our SIHH coverage! Keep checking Watchtime.com for more.
