This month, Hublot has been busy opening multiple boutiques around the globe, including two in Asia. The Swiss brand opened its first boutique in the Philippines (its 59th worldwide) in the newly opened Bonifacio High Street Central, Manila. The boutique is operated in partnership with Lucerne Jewellers, the only authorized Hublot retailer in the Philippines. Hublot celebrated the opening and Lucerne’s 30th anniversary by unveiling the King Power Oceanographic 4000 Special Edition Lucerne 30th Anniversary watch. Hublot also launched its seventh and largest Chinese boutique, covering an area of 2000 square feet. It is located in Xiamen, China, in a luxury shopping area known as China Town.
Here in the States, Hublot opened it’s eighth U.S. boutique, in Atlanta, GA. The brand invited watch connoisseurs and VIPs, including hip-hop star Young Jeezy and Atlanta Hawks announcer Ryan Cameron, to Atlanta’s Phipps Plaza for a preview of the new boutique. The Atlanta boutique features branded animation towers, creating holographic images of the watches on display. Five to eight more boutiques are planned to open in America over the next three years as part of an aggressive U.S. expansion plan.
