Dive Watch Wednesday: Real-Life Photos of the Sinn T1 and T2 B

In 2012, German watch manufacturer Sinn released two new dive watches with cases made of titanium (instead of the heavier “submarine steel” the brand normally uses for its dive watches, such as the U1, U2, and U1000): the 1,000-meter water-resistant T1, with a 45-mm diameter; and the 4-mm smaller but twice as water-resistant T2 (also known as EZM 14 and 15, respectively).

Just recently, Sinn announced blue-dial versions of both (T1 B and T2 B), which are similar to previously released models U200 B and U1000 B. Both watches are powered by a Soprod A10-2 movement, with a black date disk, and are available with a titanium bracelet, a blue NATO strap, or a blue rubber strap with Sinn’s massive folding clasp (which is the reason why the rubber-strap option is more expensive than the titanium bracelet option, in case you were wondering).

Whilst visiting Sinn’s new boutique in Frankfurt, we at diveintowatches.com did, of course, take the opportunity to snap some close-up photos of what are most likely the first of these watches to go on display.

Here they are:

The smaller Sinn T2 B also features an Ar-Dehumidifying capsule but integrated into the case; the titanium bezel is tegimented.

  1. Great watches by a TOP brand. Why don’t you run a comparison test with other divers watches such as, let’s say, Rolex , Tudor, Oris etc……..?

Very nice watches at the perfect size (45mm). The blue face and blue strap look fantastic. Unfortunately, those hands don’t do much for me. They seem unbalanced. Put an arrow on both of them or leave it off both of them. That’s just me.
