Dive Watch Wednesday: New Dials for the Sinn T1 and T2

German watch manufacturer Sinn just released a blue-dial option for the brand’s only dive watches with titanium cases, the Sinn T1 (45-mm diameter and water-resistant to 1,000 meters) and Sinn T2 (41-mm diameter and water-resistant up to 2,000 meters). Both were introduced in 2013, at the time only available with black dials.

Both the T1 and T2 are powered by the Soprod A10-2 movement (28,000 vibrations per hour, 25 jewels and approximately 42 hours or power reserve), have a white-on-black date display at 3 o’clock, and feature a sapphire crystal, Ar capsule, hardened divers’ bezel and either a rubber strap (in black or blue) or titanium bracelet. If you opt for the rubber strap, with Sinn’s massive clasp, the list price is — surprisingly — 50 euros higher than for the version with the bracelet (€2,800 for the T1, €2,600 for the T2).

It is only the second time that Sinn has offered one of its dive watches with this dial color: in 2013-2014, the Sinn U1000 chronograph was released in the limited-edition version pictured below. To check out more watches — divers and otherwise — with blue dials, click here.

For some reason I thought Sinn was a Chinese brand.
I like this model, it looks very smooth and the blue dial and matching urethane bracelet look good. The steel bracelet looks fine also.
Having two sizes available is a good idea so that purchasers have a choice of 41 or 45 mm.
