Many luxury brands, even those known more for their men’s watches, released interesting top new ladies’ watch collections, female watches and best ladies’ watches in the recent months. Here, from my blog Watch-Insider.com, are my personal choices for the best watches for women, most beautiful ladies’ timepieces, top ladies’ watches and best ladies’ watches presented recently.
A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Automatic
This is what I would call an understated luxury object in terms of best female watches and top watches for women. With its 37 mm diameter and the elegant gem setting on the bezel, the A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Automatic looks just great. The lady wearing it will probably also enjoy the stunningly beautiful automatic in-house Caliber L086.1.
Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe
To celebrate the first 60 years of the Fifty Fathoms, Blancpain also presented this version of the new Bathyscaphe in white. This is, in my opinion, one of the coolest sport and divers’ watches for ladies introduced this year, and it’s equipped with an in-house automatic caliber, which makes for an elegant and sophisticated female watch as well as a candidate of best watches for women.
Breguet Héritage Phase de Lune
The latest masterpiece from Breguet dedicated to women, and a top ladies’ watch that I find fascinating, it combines the traditional values of a Breguet with a very dynamic, contemporary look. And of course, the Héritage Phase de Lune is equipped with an in-house automatic caliber. Truly a great women watch. What is your opinion? Do you own a Breguet ladies’ watch?
Bulgari – Bulgari Bulgari
Even though Bulgari is marketing this piece as a men’s watch, and may not appreciate my listing it here, I believe it will also appeal greatly to women. The Bulgari Bulgari is also notable in that it contains this brand’s first in-house automatic movement. What do you think about Bulgari? Are there other top ladies’ watches from Bulgari that you would recommend?
Thanks for sharing the good information about the ladies’ watches….
Can you please provide me with the information regarding the approximate value of the watch that I bought for my Mom several years ago. She recently passed away and the watch has a great sentimental value for me and my family. It is a small gold watch which was bought at the Birks in Toronto, Ontario. The serial number at the back of the watch is 5600.68
Thank you
Regards
Rajka Soric
I have a Baume and Mercier Hampton, which I did not wear much and never for exercise or to swim. At 3 years old it completely misted up from a shower and I have now go to replace the hands and the entire face having taken it in to be fixed two weeks later.
I definitely do not recommend this brand.
Tag Heuer and Omega have lasted 5 times as long
And I have used them swimming horse riding etc.. how do you know that a Breguet for instance is going to have lasting power?
My wife is a passionate watch collector and likes none of these. She’s always frustrated that women’s watches are usually filled with jewels and “bling”, and continues to wish that manufacturers would produce smaller versions of men’s time pieces. There tends to be MUCH more variety in men’s watches. Guess she’ll just need to keep dreaming. :-(
Hi,
Why are the following watches not on this list?
They are very popular on social media!
Violet Hamden
Cluse
Rosefield
Thanks
I love number 2 the Blancpain and just bought one for my wife

Are These the Best Ladies Watches of the Year? › WatchTime – USA’s No.1
Watch Magazine <Loved it! Charla
Really a nice and attractive article and i must refer to all my friends to buy this watch having awesome features and innovative designing.
A very good collection of watches have been shared in this blog. I really loved it. I would love to have this Omega watch looking very attractive however I have been a great fan of Rolex watches so far.
Thank you for sharing such a nice blog.
The A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Automatic is a lovely watch but surely there must be some “best watches” for women—meaning ones that look good, give accurate time keeping and last the whole of your life—for less than NZ$44,544? There MUST be watches in the NZ500-1,000 price range that qualify! I’m afraid I wear a Pulsar 1987 digital quartz (big square thing for men). I inherited it. Well, my husband did.
Choosing the most suitable watches for any occasion is a good idea in the present time. A watch can tell lots of things about a person and make a great statement on the character, fashion knowledge, work status. Men prefer a watch for usefulness and to make an impression.
nice watches i like of those above watches
Awesome collection of watches i like all of that
Dear Alexander
I would love to discuss this topic with you
Please send me an email on rene@voicesclub.com as we would like to discuss a new initiative with you.
we have done a very comprehensive female survey on the topic of choices
Thanks
Rene
Cool, finally SOME watches without all the bling and a decent size so that those people who are long sighted do not need reading glasses to see the time! Quartz watches which take up a majority of the women’s market are an absolute insult given their rediculous prices for a quartz movement.
I wear Tag Monaco as my dress watch due to its leather strap and unique design.
I wear Rolex Explorer mens 36mm as daily wear, just got in before they upgraded the size of the watch, which has been met with criticism for varying reasons.
No Franck Muller?! I am very surprised by that…
Yes dear Alexander, in my eyes the most amazing womens’watch today is the Jaeger Lecoultre Ivy Minute Repeater. Not only is it a feast to the eyes, it is also an horological masterpiece, with a magnificent sounding minute repeater, a complication rarely produced for women.
Surprised not to see any Cartier like the Cartier Crash? Nice to see the Panerai and the A Lange. No Patek was worthy?
Crash is on page 2!! Different yes, attractive – not to me or my wife but each to their own
I always believed that Vacheron was the best. Indeed some 10 years ago I bought for my wife the asymmetrical yellow gold hand-wound but last week Vacheron Greece asked me 1.500 € !!!!!!!! to change the hair spring. Their justification was that, as per Vacheron’s new policy they have to send the watch in their factory in Switzerland to be repaired.!!! Great watches but ridiculous service. So hands down to all companies that don’t respect the money we pay them.
Jaquet Droz – Eclipse. The most beautiful.
Genuine collection for ladies you have, all the watches are very Impactful but I think Cartier Crash is the best that’s my opinion so i also give this to my wife
I really like royal blue in watches Bulgari type.so nice posting by the author.
What about Bedat’&Co …they are the only brand that is focus on creating and designing ladies watches….Swiss quality …it’s definitely appreciated by women collectors of luxury and quality……that’s why I am surprise they are not mentioned ?
Fo me , for women , a Jeager Reverso or nothing .
The watches ive had have been fossil & storm watches & all had that beautiful bright royal blue faces, having looked at alot of watches , ive only found that breil seem to still do lovely colours, i’m one of these people that likes a colour to stick out & to be different. Lori
Omega ladymate are awersome watch
Zenith heritage ultra thin moon phase. Zenith needs more respect.
Yes….. where is the Patek Philippe ladies quartz or Automatic Caletrava Models 7119, 7121 and 7134 .
It is an amazing collection! It is very difficult to choose, but my preference is for the JLC Grand Reverso Duoface, VC Patrimony Lady and Glashütte Original Pavonina.
I think you missed Patek Calatrava model 7119. Although many if your picks are very beautiful Calatrava definitely deserves its place on the list
Fabulous collection. Fifth one is really awesome. So beautiful ladies watches collection.
Have a look at Raymond Weil Freelancer Lady Sunshine watch. Although looks are entirely a matter of personal judgement, I believe it is more beautiful than any of the listed watches here…
Top of the range like Patek’s 2013 new model 7121 and 7134 are not on your list!
Zenith queen of love open heart …
Good collection, i’d include at least two watches from Jaquet Droz, certainly rose gold from “The Lady 8” collection and the white one from Petite Heure Minute Relief season.
What about the Patek in rose gold with breguet style numerals on caramel leather strap?
Beautiful pieces especially a Lang sohne
Most of the ladies watches were very nice, but quartz movements don’t belong In fine watches In my view. Why didn’t you put a Patek In your collection of women’s watches?
Well Patek also makes ladies quartz movement too :)
