The Glashutte Original Seventies case, with its soft-cornered, square bezel reminiscent of the 1970s watches that inspired this model, is in brushed stainless steel and measures 40 x 40 mm. The pusher at the upper right side of the case activates the chronograph start and stop while the one at the lower right controls the flyback. Sapphire crystals with double-sided nonreflective treatment cover both the front and back of the watch. The latter offers a view of Caliber 37-02 and its distinctive features and finishes: the rotor and chronograph bridges mounted on the typical Glashütte three-quarters plate, the “Glashütte wave” finish on the automatic bridge, blued screws, and the skeletonized 21k gold rotor with the brand’s double-G logo.
There are three versions of the Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date, with dials in galvanized ruthenium, silver, and blue, all with sunburst finished surfaces. Each is available on a complementary alligator leather strap (gray for ruthenium dial, black for silver, blue for blue); all three may also be fitted with a black rubber strap or a stainless steel link bracelet. Prices range from $14,900 (for rubber or leather strap) to $16,400 (for bracelet).

hi from Sydney Australia George needs to know why revue Thommen wathes don’t appear in this year’s basel watch expo I like the new omega speed master thanks again George
This is an absolutely elegant piece. I like the blue face, the off square shape, and the larger than normal date numerals will appeal to people like me who wear reading glasses.

When I have a spare $15k, I’ll invest in one.
hehe too funny: “spare $15K” and “invest”. How much do you think your $15k will be worth in 10 years owning this watch?
let’s say you won’t have lost anything.
