Romain Jerome and CEO Yvan Arpa Part Ways

Yvan Arpa

Romain Jerome has announced that it has parted ways with CEO Yvan Arpa. Also leaving the company are the head of administration, the sales director and two other staff members. No reason was given for the departures. Romain Jerome’s press release states that “…the change of management in no way jeopardizes the ongoing success of the company, which continues to enjoy excellent sales, promising order volumes and an extremely strong brand image.”

Romain Jerome was founded in 2004 and Yvan Arpa joined the firm in 2006. During his tenure, Arpa created a series of eyebrow-raising timepieces including one made from pieces of the Titanic, another priced at $300,000 that did not tell the time, and for 2009 one called “The Truth About Roswell” that incorporates moon dust into the dial (pictured below). The company assures us that deliveries of the Moon Dust-DNA collection will take place according to the planned schedule.
