A beautiful watch and a great horologic and technical achievement, but disappointed that Rolex completely ignored the widespread criticism of the unsightly and unnecessary writing “original gas escape valve” and “ring lock system” around the dial that belong on the back of the watch.
Also needed is a bracelet that doesn’t taper so much for such a large, heavy watch.
The inner ring is a nice design that separates the watch from the Submariner. The taper on the bracelet is done for comfort. The black dial deep sea is perfect. The D-blue is a bit tacky but you can’t go wrong with Rolex
Beautiful watch. Love the Rolex Deepsea D-Blue Edition Dive Watch because it’s missing the Cyclops or Magnifier. My only gripe is why the necessity for so much text on the dial?
I dunno, my bragging rights are not needing them. But if I did I’d be bragging that my Deep Blue 3000 will go 3000 meters (10,000) ft and I saved 11,000 in the deal. Oh, the lume is better too.
For me….as a modest collector , nothing says “dive watch” as well as the Submariner with black dial and bezel. This blue fade to black dial is unique and I guess people will be lining up to get it. To each, his own.
Where to buy the new Rolex blue deep sea dweller at $12,350?
New Rolex blue deep sea dweller ($12,350)
I think the price is incorrect

This is a fantastic watch, but does any person really need a timepiece with water resistance of 3,900 metres?
3,900 metres i.e., 3.90 kms water resistance almost unbelievable!
I want this watch just for bragging rights and, I guess, others will also buy this watch for same reason.
I would like see with blue bazel and superluminova in the markings. The perfect diver watch!
