Reactor Gamma TI Southern California-based Reactor is introducing their top-selling Gamma watch in titanium. The original Gamma, introduced in 2008, quickly became the brand's #1 seller. The new titanium version weighs 50% less than the stainless steel model yet features the same 45.5mm case and 300 meter depth rating. The new titanium model also offers Reactor's exclusive, patent-pending Never Dark illumination, which allows viewing in any light for over 12 years. Never-Dark is a proprietary lighting system that combines intensely bright Swiss Superluminova with long-lasting tritium gas-filled tubes. The Gamma Ti's K-1 crystal has 4 layers of anti-glare coating to make it easier to read under water. The watch also has a unidirectional timing bezel and a day/date movement with 10-year power cell. Like all Reactors, Gamma Ti features a triple o-ring screw-down crown system for added water resistance, and a secure screw bar case-to-band interface. The Gamma Ti will ship in early March with a MSRP of $550 for the titanium bracelet model with black or red dial, and $525 for the rubber strap model with black dial only.
