Movado’s new Series 800 Datron is inspired by the classic 1970 Datron automatic chronograph. The new model is the first entry in Movado’s Collector’s Edition series. The 40mm tonneau-shaped Datron is powered by the ETA caliber 2894-2 automatic chronograph with 37 jewels and a 42 hour power reserve. The round date aperture at 12 is an homage to Movado’s iconic Museum dot. Two dials are available: black with silver subdials and silver with black subdials, as shown below. The Datron is available exclusively on a combination brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet with butterfly deployant clasp. The Datron has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and exhibition case-back, and it is water-resistant to 5 ATM.

The Datron is priced at $2990. Look for it in stores in May.
