Luminox Announces F-22 Raptor

Luminox F-22 Raptor

Luminox, makers of watches known for their glow, introduces the F-22 Raptor Chronograph 9200, a new model in the Lockheed Martin series. The F-22 Raptor timepiece case is made from titanium. The watch features aircraft-inspired styling cues: the numbers, colors and style follow the Raptor’s instrument panel, and an image of the fighter jet is engraved on the caseback.

Luminox entered into its relationship with Lockheed Martin nearly a decade ago, and today offers the F-117 Nighthawk, the SR-71 Blackbird and the F-16 Fighting Falcon series – now joined by the F-22 Raptor series. Swiss-made Luminox watches utilize proprietary technology to offer extraordinary luminescence.

The F-22 steel bracelet model retails for $1,200, and the MSRP on a strap is $1,000.

About Mike Disher

My name is Mike Disher and I am WatchTime's technical editor. My interest in watches dates to 1972 and I caught the internet bug in 1997. In 1999 I combined these interests by joining TimeZone.com as its first full-time employee, and later that year I attended my first Basel Fair. I managed TZ from 2000-2007, and in 2008 I joined WatchTime.
