Five years ago, Frédérique Constant joined the circle of Swiss brands that develop and produce their movements in-house. For 2009, Frédérique Constant introduces its Maxime Manufacture Automatic featuring the all-new, in-house manufactured FC-700 automatic caliber. Outside, the 42mm diameter case offers polished and matte surfaces. A sapphire crystal covers a silver guilloché dial.

Priced at only $2550 in steel or $3550 in steel/rose gold plate, the Maxime offers classic good looks and excellent value for a Swiss-made watch with a manufacture movement. The Maxime is available at retailers now. For more information, visit www.frederique-constant.com. Click the images below to view larger versions.

    About Mike Disher

My name is Mike Disher and I am WatchTime's technical editor. My interest in watches dates to 1972 and I caught the internet bug in 1997. In 1999 I combined these interests by joining TimeZone.com as its first full-time employee, and later that year I attended my first Basel Fair. I managed TZ from 2000-2007, and in 2008 I joined WatchTime. My other interests include cycling, cars, building custom turntables, painting, and inventing.
