WatchTime’s New York ‘Inside Basel-Geneva’ Event Sold Out

Inside Basel/Geneva 2010

WatchTime’s “Inside Basel-Geneva” event in New York City, which will be held on Sept. 14, is sold out. WatchTime is putting names of people wanting to attend on a waiting list, said publisher Wolfgang Blum, but tickets to the event are no longer available.

However, Blum said, tickets to the IBG event in Philadelphia on Sept. 16 and in Chicago on Sept. 29 are still available. Blum noted that Philadelphia is only 90 miles from New York. Watch aficionados from the New York/ New Jersey area who are unable to get tickets for the New York event might consider attending the nearby Philadelphia show two days later. Tickets for the Philadelphia and Chicago events are $99.

The three September events wrap up this year’s six-city “Inside Basel-Geneva” tour, which WatchTime sponsors in collaboration with acclaimed watch expert Jeff Kingston. At each event, watch brands show their latest products during a two-hour cocktail reception for watch collectors and aficionados. Following the reception is a three-course dinner. During dinner, Kingston gives a 90-minute multi-media presentation on the best new watches unveiled at this year’s SIHH and Baselworld watch shows in Switzerland. The evening concludes with each attendee receiving gift bags from the sponsoring watch companies.
