Last night about 130 collectors and enthusiasts from as far away as Toronto gathered at the San Francisco City Club for the 5th edition of WatchTime’s Inside Basel/Geneva. This is the lead-off show for 2010 and this year’s shows feature an expanded line-up of exhibiting brands. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while meeting fellow enthusiasts and brand representatives, and seeing the latest creations from top brands and independent watchmakers.
Following the cocktail reception, attendees adjourned to the formal dining room for a delicious dinner with wine, during which noted collector Jeff Kingston presented the hottest new watches from Baselworld, SIHH, and the Geneva Time Exhibition. Jeff transported the audience to Switzerland with all-new video presentations that let guests hear about the newest creations directly from top brand executives. Jeff’s presentation provided lots of insight, and several laughs.
