Ralph Lauren has opened its first USA Watch & Jewelry Salon, located within the new flagship devoted to women’s and home luxury offerings at 888 Madison Ave. in New York City. The Salon features the Ralph Lauren Timepiece collection, and it will debut the Ralph Lauren Fine Jewelry collection.
The highlight of the flagship’s ground floor area, the Watch & Jewelry Salon unfolds into a series of intimate spaces spanning across nearly 600 square feet. The hall leading to the Salon is finished in white painted paneling with inset mirrors and limestone flooring. The centerpiece is a grand wrought-iron vitrine accented by black pedestal and wall showcases. French damask drapes frame the entry into the Salon, where camel carpeting, black French polished paneling, decorative metal grillwork and feminine details–such as an ornate crystal chandelier create a luxury private Salon ambiance. A custom antique silver desk and wall vitrines, framed in antique silver with inset black crocodile prosceniums, provide focal points for the presentation of the Ralph Lauren Watch & Jewelry collections.
The Watch & Jewelry Salon provides the complete offering of Ralph Lauren Watches: the Stirrup Collection, the Slim Classique Collection and the Sporting Collection. The Stirrup Collection is inspired by a legacy of equestrian style and is immediately identifiable with the designer. The Slim Classique Collection offers elaborate, hand-guided guilloché and an extremely thin case. The Sporting Collection evokes Ralph Lauren’s presence in the worlds of polo, golf and tennis, offering sporting elegance with precision functionality. Each timepiece features Manufacture mechanical movements from Piaget, IWC and Jaeger-LeCoultre, created for Ralph Lauren.
This opening is part of a strategy to present Ralph Lauren Watches within the brand’s complete “lifestyle concept” environment, in a space dedicated to the timepieces, demonstrating the commitment to providing an exclusive horological experience.
