Video: A Visit to Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Tourbillon Workshop

In this exclusive video, WatchTime contributor and event partner Jeff Kingston visits the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture in Switzerland — with a specific focus on the specialty tourbillons that are made in the company’s Grand Complications workshop. Located in Le Sentier in the Swiss Vallée de Joux, this atelier is where four generations of tourbillons — each of them unique to Jaeger-LeCoultre and each distinctly different from each other in the form of their spirals — are made: the Gyrotourbillon 1, Gyrotourbillon 2, Gyrotourbillon 3, and the most complex of all, the Spherotourbillon. Enjoy this unique look behind the scenes of Jaeger-LeCoultre.

  1. Absolutely stunning. When viewed at this level, one can begin to understand why some consider these “machines” works of art. Thank you for the video.
