TAG Heuer has been awarded first place in the "Watches" category of the "Digital IQ Index: Ranking the Digital Competence of Luxury Brands", a survey conducted by the Luxury Lab of New York University's Stern School of Business. Its conclusions are based on a sample of more than 300 million global online searches relating to 25 watch brands in 7 export markets: China, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, France and Germany. A standing-room only crowd at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel competed against more than 250 internet bidders from over 40 countries at Antiquorum's 2009 Hong Kong auction. The sale brought a total of HKD 45,453,120 ($5,864,199). 82% of the 479 lots offered were sold, representing 115% of the estimated value.
