WatchTime received an unexpected visit this week from Frederic Gasser of the French watch manufacturer BRM, who was anxious to show us the brand's new timepiece, the Mak 44. It features a case made of Makrolon — according to Gasser, the material used in the windshields of racecars — and a skeletonized movement visible through the clear dial.
