WatchTime Redesigns Mobile Website After Audience Increase of 1,000% Since 2012

WatchTime has redesigned the mobile website of watchtime.com. The new design is elegant and simple and presents content in a responsive way, adapting itself automatically to a variety of device sizes. All reviews, features, news, blog posts and educational elements are available on the mobile version, and the sponsored content section has been optimized for mobile devices as well. WatchTime’s mobile traffic has grown at a rate of 1,000% since 2012 and today accounts for more than 50% of WatchTime’s overall audience traffic. Based on this large increase, watchtime.com now hosts one of the world’s largest mobile watch websites. Additional digital enhancements will be unveiled soon as WatchTime’s parent company, Ebner Publishing, continues to invest in the digital platforms of all its media properties around the world.

The mobile website can be found by clicking on www.watchtime.com on a smartphone, phablet-phone or small tablet device. The website will recognize the device and will present the content in the appropriate format, together with a variety of social media functionalities and a direct marketing integration. WatchTime’s videos are available as embedded responsive elements, and all photos are sized accordingly to the device in order to ensure a smooth user experience. Says Dominik Grau, WatchTime’s publisher and managing director of Ebner Publishing International, “WatchTime is a unique luxury-watch media brand. Our total digital audience has grown at a rate of 900% since 2011 and the high increase of mobile readers is a testament to how watch collectors read content nowadays. We are proud to host one of the world’s largest watch websites and are thankful for the effort our team has made to design a market-leading mobile platform that will surely increase our audience reach in the coming months.”

I like the site except for all the ads and pop ups telling me to join. Obviuosly, I have already joined. There should be a way to sign in and stay signed in. In a dreamworld, maybe even turn off some of the annoying ads. I want content not constant selling. Don’t worry, I know you have to make a buck, but it is something that might be done less intrusively. There are 10 ad spaces or subscribes on this page alone…
