Pre-SIHH: Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph
Greetings from Geneva! SIHH 2012 sees the introduction of a new water-resistant watch inspired by the Memovox Deep Sea: the Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph featuring a 40.5 mm case size similar to that of the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea, which was a hit at SIHH 2011.
Pre-Basel: Omega Constellation Star
A bright new star in Omega’s Constellation family is the Co-Axial 27 mm, for women who appreciate fine mechanical movements. The brushed case with polished claws is crafted from 18k red or yellow gold. The matching bracelet has brushed links and polished bars set with 144 full-cut diamonds totaling 0.54 carat. The bezel is paved with 32 full-cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.50 carat. The screw-in caseback features a sapphire crystal that reveals the Co-Axial movement inside.
Pre-Basel: Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT
Omega introduces the Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT. The Co-Axial calibre 8605/8615 is the first of Omega’s proprietary movements to be equipped with a GMT complication, meaning that along with the central hour, minute and seconds hands, there is a GMT hand which completes one rotation every 24 hours, making it possible to keep track of the time in two time zones. Fortis Marinemaster Vintage Limited Edition
This year Fortis marks its 100th anniversary and to celebrate, the brand is issuing a limited re-edition of the Marinemaster. First distributed at the beginning of the 1940s, that model became one of the brand’s most popular watches. Over the years, the look of the watch was updated, and the 100th anniversary re-edition is inspired by the model produced during the 1970s.
