Girard-Perregaux Young Watchmakers Tour in Paris

p150Girard-Perregaux’s young watchmakers continue their tour, most recently having arrived in Paris, France. The Girard-Perregaux Young Watchmakers Tour launched in New York, showcasing the young talent of the Manufacture. As they did in New York, the watchmakers traveled around the city, showing off their skills at famous locales like Norte Dame and the Arc du Triumph. Their trip culminated in an event held at Christie’s, “The Art of Making Time,” an exhibition featuring pieces from the Girard-Perregaux Museum at La Chaux-de-Fonds. Guests were able to experience the art of watchmaking first-hand at the watchmaking benches installed at Christie’s for the event. Among the crowd of over 300 VIPs were PPR Group CEO François-Henri Pinault, Sowind CEO Michele Sofisti, and actress Salma Hayek.
