Tonight, Hublot unveils a series of 12 watches, each a unique piece with the signature of one of 12 legendary boxers, at a gala event at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The watches — King Power models with a rose-gold and green color scheme inspired by the World Championship belt of the World Boxing Council — will be auctioned to raise proceeds for the WBC’s pension fund, which helps the less fortunate members of the boxing community.
At the press reception yesterday, also attended by Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, WBC president Jose Sulemain, and boxing greats Larry Holmes, Jeff Fenech, Lennox Lewis, Tommy Hearns and Mike Tyson, among others, I got a close look at the watch; snapshots of the “Tommy Hearns” model are below.
