SIHH 2014: Montblanc Meisterstück Heritage Collection

Montblanc Meisterstück Heritage Moonphase

The Meisterstück Heritage Moonphase is offered in a 39-mm, 5N rose gold case. Its flanks have a horizontal satin finish. The narrow bezel is rounded and polished. It surrounds a slightly cambered dial, which has a sunburst pattern. The hours are marked by faceted, applied indices and an applied Roman numeral XII.

The moon phase display is integrated into the scale of the date display, which relies on a classical blued hand. The moon’s phases appear in the traditional manner inside a semicircular window along a “double-bubble” line, which gives the moon’s silhouette its gradually changing faces on the underlying disc.

The displays are animated by an automatic Calibre MB 29.14, which is visible through a sapphire display back.

This piece will be available beginning in the summer of 2014, priced at 11,500 euros in rose gold and 3,490 euros in stainless steel.

Montblanc Meisterstück Heritage Date Automatic

The Meisterstück Heritage Date Automatic is offered in a stainless steel case that embodies the codes of the Meisterstück collection: a narrow, convex, polished bezel, vertically descending flanks with horizontal satin finishing, arcing lugs, and a cambered crystal treated on both its surfaces to prevent relections.

The dial features fine black indices for the minutes and faceted, applied indices in various lengths for the hours.  The shapes of the rhodium-plated dauphine hands match the indices. The large blued seconds hand reflects a traditional code Swiss watchmaking.

The hands are propelled by self-winding mechanical Calibre MB 24.17. A sapphire display back invites the owner to admire the movement.

The Montblanc Meisterstück Heritage Date Automatic will be available starting in the summer of 2014 with  a retail price of 2,090 euros.
