Scenes from “Inside-Basel-Geneva” Chicago

IBG_Chicago_150Last night WatchTime and Jeff Kingston hosted the first of this year’s “Inside Basel-Geneva” watch collector events at the Union League Club in Chicago. It was the first IBG event held at the historic venue, and judging by the response of the sponsoring watch brands and the nearly 200 guests who attended (many of whom braved the snarled traffic caused by Chi-Town’s current teachers’ strike), it was a smashing success.

In between mingling with guests and watch brand representatives, I managed to snap a few photos of the cocktail hour and presentation dinner, a few of which are below. Check out WatchTime.com later this week for a full report on the Chicago IBG, including photos from our event photographer and quotes and reactions from both sponsors and attendees.
