Iron Man 3 star Robert Downey, Jr. has been on an international promo tour for the long-awaited film, and has been sporting at least two different Jaeger-LeCoultre watches on two different continents.
At a press conference in South Korea, Downey wore the Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX5 World Chronograph. One of a limited edition of 300 pieces, the AMVOX5 World Chronograph features an openworked dial with a gridwork motif evoking the radiator grilles on Aston Martin cars.
Downey also made a stop in Germany, where he was spotted wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph at another promotional appearance. Inspired by the 1959 Memovox Deep Sea model, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph features a traditional chronograph movement. Its hands and hour-markers are coated with Super-LumiNova in a color similar to that of its 1959 Memovox predecessor.
Iron Man 3 opens on May 3… we’ll be on the lookout to see if Downey reveals any other favorite watches on his world tour before then.
