Omega Ceragold

p150Omega, which was the first watch brand to pioneer the use of the Swatch Group’s “LiquidMetal,” is still making strides in the new-materials game. After years of development, the brand has perfected the technology for a material blending ceramic and 18k gold, known as “Ceragold.” The technique allows for the growth and bonding of 18k gold in ceramic, and is used to create ceramic bezels with gold numbers which are smooth to the touch. Below is a video explaining the process behind the creation of this innovative new material.
