The watch has an 18k rose gold case, measuring 42.5 mm in diameter and 12.54 mm thick. In addition to the semi-circular, hand-type power-reserve indicator at 3 o’clock, the dial (available in black or silver) features a large date at 11 o’clock, the day of the week in a window at 9 o’clock, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. The hands and hour indices are in rose gold. The small hand for the power reserve indicator slips into a red, shaded area of the semicircular scale when the movement’s 55-hour power reserve begins to dwindle.
The case of the Carl F. Bucherer Manero PowerReserve is water-resistant to 30 meters and has a domed sapphire crystal, with nonreflective treatment, over the dial as well as a sapphire viewing window in the caseback. The watch comes on a black Louisiana alligator strap with rose-gold folding clasp. It is also available in a stainless steel case, and a steel-case/steel bracelet model.
A printed mistake: the model CFB Manero Power Reserve is water resistant to 50 m, not 30 m.
It’s a handsome watch. What is it selling for in gold & stainless steel? Are there any sellers in the Washington metro area?
