Jeanrichard Partners With High-Wire Master Nik Wallenda

Nik-Wallenda-and-Michele-Sofisti-1150Jeanrichard, which made waves recently by partnering with “Miracle on the Hudson” pilot “Sully” Sullenberger, has hooked up with another veteran risk-taker, high-wire master Nik Wallenda, a scion of the legendary “Flying Wallendas” family of daredevil performers. The partnership was announced during a special dinner held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, attended by WatchTime, during the recently concluded JCK Watch and Jewelry fair. At the dinner, the brand presented Wallenda with a Jeanrichard Terrascope, one of the four collections it showed at JCK, which also included the 1681, Aeroscope, and Aquascope collections.

Among his many feats, Wallenda most recently walked across Niagara Falls on a two-inch steel wire. On June 23, in a nationally televised event, Wallenda will wear the new Terrascope for his next feat: walking across the Grand Canyon. The Terrascope comes in a 44-mm stainless steel case and is powered by a JR60 automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours.

“I am very proud to be a part of the JEANRICHARD family and excited to bring my own Philosophy of Life to the mix,” said Wallenda. “Our vision is one that embraces the love of risks and pushing boundaries.”
