Jaeger-LeCoultre At the Fifth Annual MoMa Film Benefit


p150Jaeger-LeCoultre was a sponsor of the fifth annual film benefit of the Museum of Modern Art, which honored the Academy Award-winning writer-director Quentin Tarantino.After a cocktail reception, the actress Diane Kruger, who is a Jaeger-LeCoultre spokesperson and served as co-chair of the event, took the stage to introduce Tarantino. The director told the story of his first experience making a movie in New York City. A dinner at the museum followed.

The benefit raises money for the museum to acquire films. This year’s event raised more $1.1 million. The honorary co-chairs of the event were Marie-Josée Kravis and Jerry I. Speyer, president and chairman, respectively, of the museum’s board of trustees, as well as Diane Kruger. Among the celebrity guests were Jamie Foxx, Katie Holmes, John Slattery, Chelsea Clinton, Steve Buscemi, and RZA.

Jaeger-LeCoultre is a long-time supporter of the world of cinema. Earlier this year it was, for the eighth time, an official partner of the Venice International Film Festival. It also supports the Shanghai and Abu Dhabi International Film Festivals.
