p150Gucci timepieces will continue their partnership with the the Recording Academy, and the Latin Recording Academy at this year’s Latin Grammy Awards. The exclusive two-year partnership between Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry and The Latin Recording Academy began last year with the launch of a special-edition collection of timepieces and jewelry designed by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini and inspired by the eclectic world of Latin American music. This year, Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry will unveil its latest two models in the I-Gucci Latin Grammy Collection at THEhotel in Las Vegas where special guests, including Latin Grammy nominees, will have the opportunity to preview the collection. The new models feature a 44mm pink gold PVD with a wide GG rubber strap in black or white. These special editions will benefit The Latin Recording Academy and its initiatives to support young and emerging artists on the international music scene and strengthen global awareness of the importance of the culture. Gucci previously unveiled the I-Gucci Museum Timepiece earlier this year, before the 2012 Grammy Awards.

On November 14th, Gucci Timepieces will present the nominees in the ‘Best New Artist’ category with the special edition I-Gucci Latin Grammy watch. Nominees include Gaby Amarantos (Brazil), Deborah De Corral (Argentina), Elain (Cuba), Ulises Hadjis (Venezuela), Los Mesoneros (Venezuela), Juan Magán (Spain), Rosario Ortega (Argentina), Piso 21 (Colombia), 3BallMTY (Mexico) and Ana Victoria (Mexico).
