New Franck Muller Watches at WPHH

p150From October 8th to 10th, the Franck Muller Group held its 4th Salon World Première of Haute Horlogerie & Jewellery (WPHH) in the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. At the event, they announced a partnership between Franck Muller and Roberto Cavalli for a “Roberto Cavalli by Franck Muller” collection. Several watches from the different Franck Muller Group brands were unveiled, including the Tourbillon Rapide Thunderbolt, which the brand is calling the fastest tourbillon ever, completing a rotation every five seconds, instead of the usual sixty seconds.

My experience with Franck Mulller watches has been extremely disappointing. For the price paid, the quality is poor and service network is unresponsive. If purchasing a watch as an investment, spend your money elsewhere. If purchasing the watch for style and enjoyment, be prepared not to be able to wear a functioning watch. You are better off buying a Chinese copy.
