The participants attended several workshops at A. Lange & Söhne where they learned details about finish techniques and the Lange way of assembling a movement. They have until November 9, 2012 to submit their entry. A jury of watch experts will judge their work based on innovation, originality, functionality, technical quality and craftsmanship, as well as artistic quality. The winner of the competition will be announced on December 6 and the prize money is earmarked to supporting their future watchmaking skills.
