Patrizzi & Co. December 14 NYC Auction Includes Custom Patek 3970 Set

On December 14 in New York City, Patrizzi & Co. will offer an extremely rare set of four Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronographs, ref. 3970, featuring custom dials with diamond indexes. The set consists of four pieces, one each in 18k yellow, white and rose gold, and one in platinum, with corresponding dial colors. The pre-sale estimate for the set is $750,000 – $1,000,000.

Also offered is a Patek Philippe ref. 2499, second series, 18k yellow gold astronomic round-button perpetual calendar chronograph with tachometer and moon phases, circa 1950s. The estimate for this piece, pictured below, is $650,000 – $850,000.

Patek collectors will also have an opportunity to bid on a ref. 5074 automatic perpetual calendar minute repeater. The pre-sale estimate is $300,000 – $350,000.
